Day 1 Fly USA to Johannesburg

Day 2 Arrive Johannesburg

Day 3 Fly Johannesburg to Livingstone

On arrival at Livingstone airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Livingstone is situated just north of the Zambezi River and is 7 miles north of Victoria Falls.

Day 4 Victoria Falls Tour

The Victoria Falls is classed as one of the wonders of the world. From January to June, Zambia benefits massively from the increased water flow over the falls making it a spectacular viewing point.

Day 5 Elephant back afternoon safari

Mount a gentle giant and head off through the riverine bush, crossing the river in shallow water to get onto islands in search of other wild game; wild elephant, giraffe and buffalo.

Day 6 Fly Livingstone to Johannesburg

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Pretoria. Pretoria is the official capital of South Africa, and is known as the Jacaranda City thanks to the month of October, when more than 70,000 jacaranda trees bloom.

Days 7-8 The Blue Train (Pretoria to Cape Town)

Transfer to the station for your journey to Cape Town. Travel from historic Pretoria, home to the Blue Train, to one of the world's most beautiful and diverse cities, Cape Town, nestled at the foot of the famous Table Mountain.

Day 8 Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town railway station, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Cape Town's location is spectacular; the city is dominated by a flat topped mountain with virtually sheer cliffs and surrounded by mountain walks, vineyards and beaches.

Day 9 Cape Peninsula Tour

Visit Hout Bay; heart of the local crayfish industry. Enjoy the spectacular views at the Cape of Good Hope and visit a colony of penguins at Boulders Beach.

Day 10 Cape Winelands Tour

Escape to the beauty and tranquility of the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Winelands and sample wines from well-known estates.

Day 11 Fly Cape Town to Phinda (Via Johannesburg)

Today you will fly to Phinda Private Game Reserve. Formed about10 years Phinda is one of Africa's most ecologically diverse regions.

Days 12-13 On safari, Phinda

Enjoy morning and afternoon wildlife activities. Spot leopards or go rhino tracking on foot in the reserve. Hippos inhabit the ancient waterways and canoeing past them can be quite a thrill.

Day 14 Fly Phinda to Sabi Sands

The Sabi Sands reserve shares 31 miles of unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park and animals are at liberty to go wherever they wish.

Days 15-16 On safari, Sabi Sands

Enjoy morning and afternoon wildlife activities. The chances of seeing the Big 5 – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino – are excellent.

Day 17 Fly Sabi Sands to USA (Via Johannesburg)

Transfer to the airport for your departure flights.
