The resort offers a choice of 120 Deluxe Garden rooms, 42 Mirage Garden rooms, 59 Deluxe Lagoon View rooms, 21 Premium Mirage rooms 3 Suites and 100 Villas. Interconnecting and accessible rooms are also available as are smoking and non-smoking rooms.

All rooms include a CD player, as well as a television with 24-hour international news service. Tea and coffee making facilities, along with a fully stocked mini bar is also in every room. Each room has a luxurious marble bathroom with a bath.

Deluxe Garden View Room

Deluxe Garden View rooms are 41sqm in size and offer views over tropical gardens and/or the championship 18-hole golf course. These rooms feature 2 double beds or king size bedding and are located on levels 1, 2, and 3. Available in smoking or non-smoking.

Mirage Garden Rooms

Mirage Garden view rooms are oversized executive rooms (52sqm) with views over the tropical gardens. These rooms feature private balcony, king size bed and jacuzzi spa bath and an over-sized bathroom.

Deluxe Lagoon View Room

Deluxe Lagoon View rooms are 41sqm in size and offer panoramas of the expansive saltwater lagoons. Each room overlooks the five acres of saltwater lagoons. These rooms feature 2 double beds or king size bedding and are located on levels 2 & 3.  Available in smoking or non-smoking.

Superior Lagoon View Room

Superior Lagoon rooms are 41sqm in size and guarantee ground floor location with a balcony overlooking the saltwater swimmable lagoons. These rooms feature 2 double beds or king size bedding.

Premium Mirage Room

Oversized executive rooms (52sqm) overlooking the five acres of saltwater lagoons, featuring both private and exterior balconies, king size bed, Jacuzzi spa bath and over-sized bathroom

Suites

Our Suites feature a master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and luxurious en-suite bathroom with sunken bath and Jacuzzi Spa bath. Separate lounge and dining areas with spacious central entry and private balcony. Kitchenette and microwave oven, large refrigerator and ice machine.

Villas

Private Villas stretch north and south of the main resort, with the first nine holes of the golf course wrapping around them. Each villa is individually decorated and feature private terraces, with view overlooking tropical gardens and/or the golf course. Villas are serviced daily and include full buffet breakfast in Lagoons restaurant for each of the villa occupants within the rate advertised. All villas are self-contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The 4-bedroom villa offe5rs master king bedroom, and secondary queen bedroom, both with en suite, on the upper level and 2 twin single rooms with main bathroom on the ground floor.

The stylish range of restaurants and bars at Sheraton Mirage Resort Port Douglas cater for the most cosmopolitan of tastes, with award-winning menus and atmosphere to match. Fresh local seafood is a popular choice at both Il Pescatore and Lagoons, while exotic cocktails and savoury temptations are the order for the day at Ocean Breeze Bar and the Daintree Lounge. Japanese cuisine reaches art form from Zai, and the nearby marina Mirage uncovers a host of other dining options.

Is open from 6pm 7 days a week, (closed Wednesdays and Thursdays during the low season) and specializes in a comprehensive a la carte menu with an impressive wine list. The menu features fresh local produce with a Mediterranean influence. The style of service is friendly and efficient with that 5 star touch. A permanent cover has been placed on the terrace to enable all year round alfresco dining, environmental lighting light up the trees and lagoons for that extra ambiance.

Lagoons Restaurant

Is open 7 days a week (closed Tuesdays and Saturdays during the low season) specialises in Buffet, featuring a live cooking station using fresh local produce. The dinner buffet features different themes each evening. Lagoons also features an extensive breakfast buffet with fresh seasonal fruits, compotes, Tableland yoghurts, freshly baked homemade breads and pastries with a live cooking station to prepare your omelettes and eggs to your liking. During the low season Lagoons dinner buffet is closed Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Zai Restaurant

Is open 5 days a week from 6pm (closed Sundays and Mondays) specializing in authentic Japanese cuisine. Zai has the ambience of a Traditional Japanese Restaurant with authentic Japanese tiles, building structure and gardens. A live seafood tank is situated in the Restaurant for guests to choose from a selection of fresh seafood (abalone, oysters, mud crabs and lobsters). The menu also features Australian flavors such as Crocodile, Emu and Kangaroo. If guests do not want a full meal then perhaps sit at the sushi bar and have our Traditional Japanese Chef prepare sashimi or sushi to order.

High Tea

Is served between 3pm to 5pm every afternoon in our Daintree Lounge and consists of freshly made scones accompanied with jam and fresh cream, an assortment of home made cakes and fresh finger sandwiches with daily fillings.

Daintree Supper Menu

Is available nightly between 5pm to 10pm offering a variety of Tower menus.

The Sunbird Bakery

Offers a selection of sandwiches and wraps, toasted sandwiches; tea, coffee and beverages; salads, sushi, chocolate bars and chips; hot food including pies, quiche, hot dogs and croissants.
