Raging Thunder Adventures are the pioneers of
rafting in Queensland, Australia! Their first
commercial trip on the Tully River consisted of
three nervous passengers in 1984.
Even today they still raft the mighty Tully River, because it is regarded
as the best rafting river across Australia and
New Zealand.
The Directors of Raging Thunder Adventures have
placed great emphasis on safety and training and
have pioneered many of the Swiftwater Rescue
procedures and techniques used around the world.
Their guides are trained to this high standard
which includes Wilderness Medivac training, by
Rescue 3 Australia; a franchise of the world
renowned Rescue 3 International.
The mood of the trips is informal; the emphasis
is on team work and sharing. The pioneering of
their tours and equipment, safety procedures,
and highly trained adventure guides, have made
Raging Thunder Adventures the leaders in
