Enjoy nine days of scenic splendor and diverse
landscapes as your local guide helps you experience the
natural wonders and heritage of this diverse and magical
land – Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Cloud.
You will meet the local people, walk along
deserted beaches, through ancient rain forests,
view Pacific Island glaciers and experience the
stillness in the magnificent Milford Sound. Go
where the large tour groups do not venture and
visit wild and remote places. Visit National
Parks and the South-West New Zealand World
Heritage Area, all in the shadow of the Southern
Alps and their rugged snow capped peaks.

Pass National Park, Franz Josef and Fox

Brian Lucas, apart
from being a very
good friend of mine,
has this incredible
ability to make you
feel like you are at
home immediately. He
has such passion and
knowledge about the
South Island of New
Zealand and he and
his team are so
happy to share this
with you when you
join one of his
exclusive tours in
New Zealand. |

Why Choose
Canterbury Trails? |
|
|
Their aim is simple…
-
To present
guests with the best possible experience of
New Zealand that time permits
-
To provide
magical personal small group and exclusive
private tours to show guests the wonders of
the South Island.
-
To offer tours
for those who do not want to be part of
large groups or who do not want to self
drive, with first class
service and the comfort that should be
expected.
|
 |
|
Canterbury Trails
aims to give their guests a truly memorable
visit to New Zealand, a visit that will be both
relaxed and unique. |
|
They do this by
-
Taking small
groups of independently minded travelers to
the heart of what makes New
Zealand unique.
-
Designing their
tours to encompass those things that make
New Zealand truly unique – it's ecology and
natural history, the Maori mythology and
history, the European history and of course,
its incredible scenery.
-
Believing in
quality over quantity and so accordingly,
our tour participation is usually limited to
six to eight guests per tour
-
Providing a
highly personalized, interactive and
spontaneous experience
-
Sharing the
genuine hospitality of real New Zealanders –
priding themselves on thoroughness, personal
touches and attention to detail.
