World class cuisine in a tropical setting
The sparkling waters of the turqoise lagoon and
the rich colours of the lush garden create the
perfect backdrop for your culinary adventure.
Executive Chef, Patrick Ruel, brings his unique
experiences and passion for exotic ingredients
to the Sofitel Tahiti. Not to be missed is his
famous warm coconut pie with Tahitian vanilla
ice cream.
With its own ahimaa, the traditional pit oven
used by locals, Sofitel Tahiti also features
weekly Tahitian Tamaaraa feasts where pork,
chicken, fish and vegetables are wrapped in
banana leaves and baked for hours on hot stones.
The feast is accompanied by a local show
featuring traditional dancing in colourful
costumes and beautiful French Polynesian music.
From casual poolside salads and burgers to the
spectacle of traditional teppanyaki, Sofitel
Tahiti offers three food and beverage outlets
that will fill your senses:
Moorea Snack Bar
Le Moorea is a relaxed poolside bar and
restaurant offering casual dining and snacks,
along with an extensive array of tropical
cocktails. Beautiful views across the lagoon
make it the perfect setting for sunset
cocktails, or an after-dinner drink while you
enjoy the musical entertainment.
Le Bougainville
Alfresco dining overlooking the lagoon. Offers
fine local and international cuisine, full
buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch and dinner
plus theme nights and buffets in the evening.
A traditional thatched structure with open
sides, allowing cool breezes to waft through,
while you enjoy the stunning views overlooking
the lagoon. Surrounded by tropical plants and
flowers, the beautiful fragrance of the local
tiare, frangipani and bougainvillea scent the
air.
Le Bougainville is the place to start your day
with a vast array of breakfast treats around a
circular open kitchen. At lunchtime an extensive
a la carte menu is available, while in the
evening the restaurant offers either buffet or a
la carte from an international menu that changes
seasonally and showcases the best local produce.
Themed nights and traditional French Polynesian
feasts are also offered.

choice of different menus and the freshest
seafood.
