Day 1: Fly Los Angeles to Sydney on Virgin Australia

Adelaide - Afternoon at Leisure

Adelaide is an airy city, ringed by beautiful parks and gardens and graced with elegant sandstone buildings and cottages. There are more restaurants per head of population than any other Australian city - from expensive bistros to the formal and exotic, most serve a range of outstanding local wines from the famous 'valleys' nearby. Home to over one million people, Adelaide is best explored on foot to properly experience the wealth of art galleries and museums, festivals, markets, cafe society and superb shopping.
Day 4: Barossa Valley Day Tour
If you enjoy Australian wines or would like to try some, then a day in the renowned Barossa Valley will be one of the highlights of your visit to South Australia. Begin a personalized journey that includes a city orientation, before traveling through the scenic Torrens Gorge to the Barossa Valley. Travel over the Jacobs Creek for the first tasting today of the fine wines at the Peter Lehmann winery. Visit Torbreck wine cellars, a small winery with rustic charm, plus visit other small wineries to meet well-known wine identities. Stop for a stroll in the German town of Tanunda with time to discover the small shops, many of which specialise in crafts made by the locals. Lunch will be at a restaurant in the Barossa. The afternoon may include a vist to Henschkes winery in Keyneton, or historic Yalumba, the biggest family run winery in Australia. A visit to Maggie Beer Farm shop is a must for food lovers. Alternatively, we may continue through the picturesque villages of Hills as we travel to Hahndorf, the German village and taste the fine wines produced by Hahandorf Hill Winery. Mid afternoon we begin our return to the city via the Adelaide Hills and the interesting little towns en-route.
Day 5: Transfer Adelaide City to Airport
You will be met by your driver at your hotel and tranferred to Adelaide Airport by private vehicle.

Silky Oaks Lodge is a unique wilderness lodge in an unrivalled riverside location on the beautiful Mossman River, just downstream from the Mossman Gorge. Day 9: Luxury Sail & Snorkel
Synergy Reef Sailing offers a unique way for you to see the Great Barrier Reef in style in a small group to a maximum of only twelve. On the daily cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, Synergy II sails to one of two sites at Tongue Reef, approximately 20 nautical miles from Port Douglas. The Skipper will choose the best location according to the conditions on the day to maximize the experience on the day. Your day of luxury includes morning tea, a gourmet BBQ lunch, over 3.5 hours at one of the spectacular reefs, snorkeling equipment and tuition, and a guided snorkeling tour.
Day 10: Silky Oaks Lodge Safari
The journey to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation features incredible coastal and rainforest scenery, with visits to a variety of different environments throughout the day including estuary, mangroves, rainforest and beach. The first stop is Mill Walk in Cape Tribulation National Park, a private track with exclusive access only. Away from the crowds, marvel at the ancient rainforest surrounds and learn about the ecology and fauna from your expert naturalist guide. After a short drive, you will arrive at Myall Beach where a relaxing stroll offers spectacular views of the Cape Tribulation and the Great Dividing Range. You then travel to a private bush camp for a traditional Australian BBQ lunch followed by a revitalising swim in a freshwater swimming hole. In the afternoon, enjoy a crocodile and wildlife spotting tour on the picturesque Daintree River and return to Silky Oaks Lodge for afternoon tea in the open-sided Treehouse Restaurant.

Day 12: Bridge Climb- Day Climb
The Bridge Climb is a 3.5 hour guided journey to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It takes you along the outer arch of the Bridge on catwalks and ladders all the way to the summit, 400 feet above Sydney Harbour. In Climb groups of up to 14 people, you'll be led by one of Bridge Climb's professional Climb Leaders on an adventure of the world's most recognizable bridge. The steady incline to the summit leaves you free to focus your attention on your Sydney experience, with opportunities to witness 360 degree views of Sydney, including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbour city surrounds. When you reach the top, you will have a sense of achievement that you will remember forever - you've conquered an Australian icon recognised the world over!
Spectacular Sydney Afternoon - Lunch & Sights
You will be collected late morning from your hotel to see the highlights of downtown Sydney. Venture into some of the exclusive harbourside residential, with a stop for a 2-course lunch. From lunch we continue our sightseeing including the famous areas of Bondi Beach and Paddington before returning to the city. This is a very special small-group tour designed to give you a feel for this great city by showing you more than just the normal must-see 'tourist sites'. Because we only use small luxury mini-vans, we will get behind the scenes to some fascinating city and suburban areas.
Day 13: Cruise Like A Local
Cruising on Sydney Harbour is a quintessential Australian experience. With a maximum of 12-14 people on this small group experience, 'cruise like a local' aboard this luxurious 52' Pacific Motor Cruiser, on one of the most spectacular harbours in the world. Enjoy the fabulous sightseeing opportunities, or perhaps you fancy yourself as an angler? You may wish to take the sea kayaks and row to a secluded beach. Perhaps go for a swim, or take your chilled glass of Australian wine and relax on the luxurious sunpads. A catered gourmet Australian barbecue lunch is served with regional wines and local beers.
