Days 1-2 Fly USA to Cape Town (via Johannesburg)

Depart the United States and travel direct on South African Airways via Dakar, Senegal and Johannesburg.

Day 3 Arrive Cape Town

Arrive into Cape Town and transfer to the Table Bay Hotel.  Check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Cape Town is indescribably beautiful and is steeped in fascinating history. Ride a cable-car to the top of Table Mountain, take a ferry to Robben Island, or meander through the South African Winelands.

Day 4 Cape Peninsula Tour

See for yourself how this spectacular southern tip of Africa became known as the 'Fairest Cape'. See how this spectacular southern tip of Africa became known as the ‘Fairest Cape’. Begin with a stroll through the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Drive past the pristine beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno – currently the hottest real estate in the world – to Hout Bay, a functioning harbor and heart of the local crayfish industry. Drive along the breathtakingly scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, around the Atlantic Seaboard.

After a stop for lunch (own account), it’s on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and its scenic viewing point. The amazing sea and mountain views are reason enough to make the 41 mile trip from Cape Town.  Amid the rocky landscape – home to mountain zebra, eland and ostriches – blooms magnificent Cape flora. Continue along the coastline to the beautiful Boulders Beach where you can stroll along wooden walkways and enjoy viewing a colony of penguins. The last stop is at the naval port of Simon’s Town, the country’s third oldest European settlement.

Day 5 Cape Winelands Tour

A whole day dedicated to the indulgence and splendor of Africa's premier wine region. Escape to the beauty and tranquility of the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Winelands. The first stop is the Afrikaans Language Monument, perched on Paarl Rock, which offers sweeping views of the surrounding area. Continue onto wineries of well-known estates to sample wines of merit, before visiting the Huguenot Monument and Museum in Franschhoek to discover the origins of this world renowned wine producing region. Enjoy lunch in one of the many fine restaurants in either Franschhoek or Stellenbosch (own account). Don’t miss the world-famous 19th century-style general dealer in Stellenbosch’s Dorp Street – Oom Samie se Winkel.

Day 6 Fly Cape Town to Kruger National Park

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. On arrival, transfer to your private Kruger Park concession accommodation. All meals are included during your stay.

Day 7 Kruger National Park

Today, spend your time enjoying the game drives and activities offered at the lodge on the private concession. Kruger National Park’s two million-hectare reserve offers an amazing wildlife experience and is home to the Big Five – elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Private game reserves include the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, located on the South West corner of the Park with rivers that supply much-needed water to the region creating an incredibly bio-diverse wildlife population. The Timbavati Nature Reserve shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park allowing animals free range and ensuring visitors the opportunity to view a diverse variety of wildlife.

Day 8 Fly Kruger National Park to USA (Via Johannesburg and Europe)

This morning, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before you check out and transfer to Mpumalanga Airport to connect with your scheduled flight to Johannesburg.  Connect with your onward flight to the USA.

Day 9 Arrive USA

Arrive during the middle of the day into the United States.
