Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Steven commenced his career in tourism working for New Zealand’s largest inbound ground operator managing the reservations department in 1990. He then moved into the international hotel sales arena and spent four years in New Zealand and Australia representing over 100 Accor South Pacific hotels in the Asia market place. He joined the Swain team in 2002 and now oversees the reservations department here for Asia and India.  He has traveled extensively through China and Thailand and last September made his thirteenth trip to Japan staying at a Buddhist monastery on Mount Koya, a recent addition to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
