Hello, I’m Cory Payton, one of the few people at Swain Tours who is actually a USA native, born and raised in a central California city just outside of Fresno.  Yes, I grew up on a 60 acre peach and grape farm and learned to drive a tractor at age 8 with our nearest neighbor being 2 miles away and the nearest McDonalds a mere 30 miles, thus I had a very outdoor childhood.  Ever since graduating from UC Davis in Northern California, travel and the outdoors have been my passion; first as a camp counselor and then for a camping adventure company as well as Contiki Holidays where I was able to visit all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii.  My vacations have always been a highlight of the year and have travelled extensively around Europe and Asia with Thailand being a particular favorite destination.

I’m currently the outside sales Executive for the West Coast here at Swain tours and I truly enjoy working with the agent community to build their travel business and educate on all the destinations we have to offer.  Of couse, the FAM trips with Swain are also quite a bonus and I’ve been able to explore Australia, New Zealand, and Africa with my fellow agent community and also enjoyed a recent trip to Tahiti. When I’m not out on the road, I try to fit in a round our two of golf or hiking in the mountains around Southern California.
