Garry Plant commenced working for the original ‘Swain Australia Tours’ team in September of 1990 in a management role before pursuing a sales position. ‘That’s my passion with this company’, says Plant, a native Australian from Brisbane who has traveled all over Australia and New Zealand and exudes unsurpassable knowledge and a true love for these countries. Prior to Swain, Garry was a consultant/manager with Flight Center in Brisbane – a department that specialized in Ski Vacation Packages and prior to that he was a self-confessed ‘ski bum’ in Colorado, Wyoming, California, France, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy.

Prior to discovering the ski slopes and the tourism industry, Garry was a Special Education Teacher with the Queensland Education Department and spent 7 years in outback and city schools throughout Northern Australia working mostly with Aboriginal Children. Garry is now based in his home town of Brisbane, Australia and works while the Philadelphia team is asleep!
